LEN FISHER – TOWN CLERK - responsibilities

  • The Council performing its duties with the law and its powers.
  • All staff including those at Seaford Head Golf Course.
  • Assists in the formulation of Council policies.
  • All Council projects.
  • Advises member’s on new legislation affecting the Council and its business.
  • The Council’s accreditation as a Quality Council.
  • Deals with marketing, publicity and advertising for the Council.

MIKE WRIGHT – ADMINISTRATION MANAGER - responsibilities

  • Day to day running of the Council’s office.
  • All agendas and minutes including attending all Council and committee meetings.
  • Maintenance of all Council property and assets.
  • Ensures all queries and enquiries are dealt with correctly.
  • Matters affecting Council staff at the Council’s office including recruitment.

GRAHAM PARISH – FINANCE OFFICER – responsibilities

  • Responsible Financial Officer for the Council.
  • Prepares all financial reports.
  • Advises the Council on all financial matters
  • Manages and monitors the Council’s finances.
  • Undertakes all risk assessments
  • Deals with the leases and licences on all Council property.

  • Mayor’s Secretary.
  • Personal Assistant to the Town Clerk.
  • Council’s websites.
  • Production of quarterly Newsletter.
  • Production of Council’s Annual Report.

SHEILA LEWRY – ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – responsibilities

  • Reception duties.
  • Deals with all enquiries not needing specialist knowledge.
  • Letting of beach huts.
  • Provision of memorial benches
  • Letting of Council land.
  • Preparation of Town Guide.
  • Annual Christmas lights.

SALLY LAIDLAW – FINANCE ASSISTANT – responsibilities

  • Deals with day to day financial matters.
  • Payment of all bills and preparation of Council invoices.
  • VAT.
  • Monitors public utility consumption and payments.
  • Internal audit checks.
