- Advises members’ on new legislation affecting the Council and its business.
- The Council’s accreditation as a Quality Council.
- Deals with marketing, publicity and advertising for the Council.

MR BEN KING - PROJECTS FACILITIES MANAGER - responsibilities
- Facility and concession management
- Building and asset management, maintenance and development
- Management of maintenance contracts
- Management of contracts, leases and licences for Council property
- Develop partnership working with other agencies and the community
- Project management
- Co-ordination of outdoor events
- Development of new community initiatives
- Health and Safety and Risk Assessments (outdoors)

- Co-ordination of the Council’s decision making process, including minutes and agendas for all Council meetings
