Notice regarding opening of Seaford Town Council Community Grants Sceme for the year 2022/23

Each year the Town Council extends the opportunity to local community groups, charities or voluntary organisations to apply for a financial grant from the Town Council’s grants pool.

In the 2021/22 scheme, the Town Council was delighted to be able to support the local community with grants totalling £14.914.

There are two types of grant available; small grants of up to £500 or larger grants over £500, up to a maximum of £3,000. Terms and conditions do apply.

In previous years grants have been awarded for a variety of projects including to support the continuance of Seaford Dial-a-Ride service at its pre-Covid level of activity; to support local children to develop creative talents with Teddy Treats Top Talent Sponsorship; to support virtual counselling sessions with qualified children’s mental health and wellbeing therapists for The Youth Counselling Project and supporting the first aid cover at the annual Seaford Bonfire event for Seaford Bonfire to name but a few.

Please note that the closing date for applications to be submitted is 4.30 pm on Friday 27th May 2022 and that applications should be submitted electronically, marked for the attention of Lucy Clark, Finance Manager and emailed to admin@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk
