Seaford Town Council would like to thank Seaford Secret Stones, along with all the local shops that took part in the ‘Christmas Magic Secret Stones Treasure Trail’. Seaford Town Council worked with 14 local shops to create a treasure trail amongst the Christmas window displays. The First Prize of a beach hut for the day donated by Seaford Town Council was won by Kieran Wright, who is looking forward to spending a day in one of the West View Beach Huts in summer 2020. Many prizes were won by lots of children who enjoyed searching for the decorated stones around Seaford town centre. Congratulations to all the winners.
Thank you to all the shops that participated and donated fantastic prizes. Thank you to the seven shops in Broad Street, Ambers Florist, Foam and Fabric, Scoop and Weigh, who donated a pick and mix voucher. Stich who donated a sewing lesson, Cameron’s Chemist, who donated a melting snowman. Crosby’s donated a Christmas hanky and Sweet Moments donated a 16-piece box of chocolates.
Thank you to the three shops in Sutton Park Road, Unique who has donated a voucher for a haircut, Be Creative who has donated a baking mould and Home Hardware who donated a cushion with an image of Seaford’s Martello tower on.
Thank you to the shops in Place Lane, Wynnes who donated a dancing elf and the Secret Wardrobe who donated a ruck sack. Thank you to Onneke on the High street who has donated a money box and thank you to Seaford Health Food Shop who donated sweets as a prize.
The Christmas Secret Stones have been beautifully designed and painted by year 2 children at Seaford Primary School. There were 14 that were displayed in amongst the local shops festive window displays. Seaford town centre is blessed with a variety of independent shops and traders, Seaford Town Council are committed to working with local retailers and supporting local shops. We look forward to working together again with local shops and Seaford Secret Stones next festive season.
