The Seaford Neighbourhood Plan has now completed the Regulation 16 Consultation. All representations made have been passed by Lewes District Council to the Examiner for his scrutiny along with all the other documentation that was published by LDC under Regulation 16 consultation.

The Seaford Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group has decided to delete from the Plan, Policy SEA10 on Health and the associated Paragraphs 6.37A-6.37C. This is because a glitch in Microsoft Word meant that adding in to the Plan redrafted (and longer) paragraphs (that is the above paragraphs 6.37A-6.37C) immediately before the Second Reg 16 Consultation documents were published, led to the Policy itself being inadvertently deleted from the draft. Even though the Policy SEA 10 appeared in the list of policies at the beginning of the Plan it has been decided that it would be safer to delete the policy rather than run the risk of the Plan being challenged later.

This deleting does not lessen the support for the Downs Health Hub project but rather a response to the technical requirements in relation to Neighbourhood Planning.
