Seaford Town Council has contacted South East Water (SEW) having heard that a number of residents in Seaford currently have no water.
SEW has confirmed that there is a broken drain at Cliff Close that has caused a number of houses in that part of the town to have no water.
SEW is on site trying to fix the problem but unfortunately are unsure how long it will take. SEW is arranging a water tank and water bottles to be available.
If you have no water and want further information, call the SEW general emergency line on 0333 000 0002.
SEW holds a register of vulnerable people that it will be delivering water to as a priority, so please do sit tight while SEW gets these deliveries made. If you are vulnerable and concerned that you may not be on this register to receive bottled water, please contact SEW on 0333 000 1100.
The Town Council wants to thank SEW for all it is doing to sort this problem and to those residents without water for their patience and understanding while this is taking place.
