We are aware of concerns raised on social media regarding parking permits for Seaford residents at South Hill Barn and would like to clarify the situation.
At the Full Council meeting on 29 January, councillors approved a one-year trial of a pay-and-display system at the South Hill Barn car park, due to commence at the beginning of April 2026. The decision recognised the need for action ahead of the coming year and summer period to help address ongoing parking and congestion issues in and around the site.
Parking permits for Seaford residents will be available free of charge from the Seaford Tourist Information Centre. Seaford Town Council will provide full details in due course on when permits will be available and how they can be collected.
