PROJECTS AND FACILITIES OFFICER
About the Role
Work Hours: 37 hours per week
Salary – STC4: £30,518pa – £32,597pa
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Projects & Facilities Officer to join Seaford Town Council. This is a key role supporting the delivery of a diverse range of projects, contracts, facilities, and community initiatives across the town.
You will lead on delegated projects and play an important role in coordinating project delivery in line with strategic objectives, overseeing Council facilities and assets, managing both Council-led and external events, and supporting concessions, street trading, and open space hire. You will also contribute to community engagement, partnerships, and communications.
This is a varied and dynamic position, combining office-based work, site visits, and stakeholder engagement, with flexibility for hybrid working where appropriate.
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience supporting or delivering projects from planning through to completion
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confidence liaising with contractors, external partners, and the public
• A proactive and solution-focused approach

We’re looking for someone with the following essential requirements:
• Experience in project management
• Willingness to learn and commitment to continuous professional development
• Project management qualification (or working towards / willingness to obtain)
• Experience in conflict resolution
• Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and project tracking tools
• Excellent attention to detail
• A creative and innovative approach to problem-solving
Desirably, we would like someone with:
• Experience in planning and executing projects
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends (with notice)
• A strong commitment to supporting the local community
• Understanding of public sector environments and governance
• A passion for contributing to community initiatives and improvements

CAR PARK ATTENDANTS
This is a public‑facing, outdoor role providing a visible presence, assisting visitors, managing vehicle movements, and supporting the Council during busy periods, weekends, bank holidays, and peak visitor times.
