At its Annual Meeting on Thursday 14 May, Seaford Town Council proudly elected Councillor Lindsay Stirton as the Mayor of Seaford for the 2026–2027 civic year.
Accepting the role, Councillor Lindsay Stirton said: “It is a great honour to have been elected Mayor of Seaford, and I am truly grateful for the generous confidence shown in me by colleagues across the Council. I look forward to serving our town, supporting the people and organisations who make Seaford special, and celebrating its civic life in the year ahead.”
Councillor Rod Buchanan was also appointed as Deputy Mayor for the coming year, and will support the Mayor in his civic duties.
