Ongoing coastal erosion at Seaford Head means the long-term future of the existing 17th Green and 18th Tees is becoming increasingly uncertain.
To address this, Seaford Head Golf Course, which is owned by Seaford Town Council, has been working with specialist golf course architect Gareth Williams of GWD Design over a number of years to develop proposals for the relocation of these features. The aim is to secure the long-term future of the course while retaining the character, challenge and playing experience of these iconic holes.
The project has now reached its final design and public consultation stage. Before the design is finalised and taken forward for pre-application planning discussions, we are seeking the views of golf club members, local residents, visitors and other interested stakeholders.
