Seaford Town Council is developing a confidential register of local people, businesses and organisations who may be able to assist during emergency situations.

The register will form part of the Community Emergency Action Plan and help ensure that valuable local skills, knowledge and resources can be accessed quickly when needed.

We are particularly interested in hearing from people and organisations who can offer support such as:
• Medical or healthcare expertise
• First aid provision
• 4x4 vehicles and drivers
• Support for elderly or vulnerable residents
• Tree surgery and clearance services
• Food supplies, catering and local retailers
• Community volunteer groups
• Fuel provision
• Veterinary services
• Electricians, plumbers and heating engineers
• Farmers, tractor owners and land management specialists
• Builders, contractors and heavy plant operators
• Community transport providers
• Generator owners and equipment suppliers
• Local charities, faith groups and community organisations
• Specialist equipment or other useful resources

If you are based in Seaford or spend much of your time in the town and would be willing to assist during emergencies, please complete this form: Seaford Community Emergency Support Network Registration – Fill out form

Deadline: The deadline for submissions is 12 noon on Thursday 7 August.

Important Information: Where individuals, businesses or organisations are offering specialist skills, professional services, equipment or contractor support, Seaford Town Council may request additional information at a later stage. This may include evidence of relevant qualifications, credentials, licences, certifications and insurance cover to help ensure that information held on the register is accurate and appropriate for emergency use.

Privacy: All information will be treated as confidential and will only be shared with authorised officers, councillors and the East Sussex Resilience and Emergencies Partnership for emergency planning and response purposes.

Together, we can help strengthen Seaford's resilience and preparedness during times of need.
