HR & Organisational Development Manager
Location: Seaford Town Council Offices (up to 50% home working)
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £37,280 (pro rata if part-time)
Grade: STC6 (SCP 26–30)

About the Role
As HR & OD Manager, you will:
– Lead and manage all HR functions, providing expert advice and support to managers and staff.
– Drive organisational development initiatives to enhance performance and engagement.
– Oversee staff training and professional development, fostering a culture of growth.
– Act as the Council’s Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance and best practice.
– Coordinate payroll and contribute to budget planning.
– Support policy development and change management across the organisation.
Human Resources & Operational Development Manager – Job Description
What We’re Looking For
– CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher).
– Proven experience managing an HR function in a generalist and advisory capacity.
– Strong knowledge of employment law, HR processes, and data protection legislation.
– Experience in organisational development and employee engagement.
– Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and manage conflict.
– A proactive, adaptable, and resilient approach with a commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
