Car Park Attendants at South Hill Barn Car Park
This is a public‑facing, outdoor role providing a visible presence, assisting visitors, managing vehicle movements, and supporting the Council during busy periods, weekends, bank holidays, and peak visitor times. This is a zero hour contract with working hours offered on a casual, as and when required basis.
The successful candidate will have:
- A professional and approachable manner
- The ability to work independently and use initiative
- Confidence in dealing with members of the public
- A flexible approach to working hours, including weekends, school holidays and bank holidays
- The ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
About You
You will be motivated, reliable, and comfortable working in a customer‑focused environment. You will take pride in maintaining a safe and tidy site, supporting visitors, and representing Seaford Town Council positively at all times.
We’re looking for someone with the following essential requirements:
- Experience in a public‑facing or customer service role
- Experience working outdoors
- Ability to manage tasks effectively in a busy environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Awareness of basic health and safety principles
Desirably, we would like someone with:
- Previous experience as a car park attendant
- Knowledge of Seaford and local visitor attractions
- Experience in stewarding, facilities, or site supervision
