Expressions of Interest invited for new town & seafront concession spaces
Seaford Town Council is reaching out to local business owners looking to launch or grow their start-ups with some exciting new concession spaces across the town.
SEAFORD, 18th January 2024 – Seaford Town Council is thrilled to unveil a unique opportunity for local entrepreneurs to establish or expand their businesses in prime locations, including the ever-popular Seaford seafront. Commencing in April 2024, a range of fixed and non-fixed concession spaces will be available, all offered with three-year leases.
Fixed Asset Concessions include;
The Old Town Hall (Image One), The Salts Café (Image Two) and the newly redeveloped Martello Café.
One ice cream concession space at Splash Point (Image Three) and two additional concession spaces on Bonningstedt promenade (Image Four), for a focus on health and wellbeing for the Bonningstedt area concessions.
Finally, our commercial West View Beach Huts (Image Five) are available for their 2024 offering. These beach huts offer four businesses the chance to be situated along our busy promenade throughout the summer season, from April to September. Offering the perfect platform for small brands looking to expand their audience and connect with our residents and tourists.
Expressions of Interest are now officially open with applicants asked to send their business name, concession space of interest and website (if they have one) to projectsandfacilities@seafordtowncouncil.gov.uk
In order to foster an inclusive, vibrant concession environment, Seaford Town Council is actively looking to support new and budding local businesses and encourages launching entrepreneurs to consider the spaces.
Applicants will be evaluated on various factors including locality, sustainability practices, inclusivity initiatives and health and wellbeing impact alongside the financial consideration of each application.
Residents are actively encouraged to share this information and those interested are advised to stay informed via the social media channels and the Town Council’s website for when tender documents go live.
