During week commencing 26th January an excavator will clear shingle from the Seaford promenade and set up the site compound at Seaford Sailing Club.
Shingle recycling will then start on Monday 2rdof February 2026, where beach material will be moved from Tide Mills and evenly distributed back to the southeastern end of the frontage. Phase 2 is commencing earlier than usual due to the impacts of Storm Goretti on the 6th of January. The shingle recycling duration is anticipated to take 5 to 6 weeks (but this can be subject to change).
