Seaford Christmas Magic is returning on Saturday 29 December.

In preparation for this, Seaford’s Christmas Lights will be installed on from Monday 17 November, we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

The main Christmas Magic event this year will be running from 10am – 5.30pm, with events at various locations in town followed by the Positivity lantern parade which will congregate at The Mercread Youth Centre at 3.30pm for a 4pm departure. The light switch on will then happen at 5pm on Broad Street.

To assist with the safe set up and execution of the event we will be closing the named streets below from 2pm on Saturday 29 November until after the crowds have cleared. No vehicle access will be permitted within the closure, so we recommend NO PARKING in these areas from 1pm on Saturday 29 November.

The town centre areas will be pedestrian only access from 2pm on Saturday 29 November throughout the event until the area is safe and clear of pedestrians for us to reopen the roads.

Affected roads include:
Broad Street
Saxon Lane
Place Lane
Church Street
South Street
High Street
Croft Lane
Sutton Croft Lane
West Street
East Street (4-5:30pm for the lantern parade)
Mecread Road (4-5:30pm for the lantern parade)

All affected roads will start to CLOSE from 5am Saturday 29 November until 8pm Saturday 29 November.

We hope you can join us on the day, to help us welcome the festive season and celebrate the switch on of the Town’s Christmas Lights!
