Seaford Town Council is pleased to share that local company Plumbwells Plumbing Ltd. (known as Plumbwells) will once again be supporting the town’s Remembrance Day Commemorations by installing poppy displays on lampposts across Seaford.

The displays, which will be put up free of charge by Plumbwells, serve as a poignant tribute to those who gave their lives in service to their country, as well as to those who continue to serve today. The lamppost poppies will be in place in the lead-up to Remembrance Sunday on 9th November 2025, creating a powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance throughout the town.

Plumbwells hope the initiative will help bring the community together during this period of remembrance, while also raising awareness and support for the Royal British Legion’s annual Poppy Appeal. More information on the Poppy Appeal can be found here - https://www.britishlegion.org.uk/get-involved/fundraise-for-us/poppy-appeal#content

Seaford Town Council thanks Plumbwells for its generous support in helping the community honour this important occasion.

The town’s Remembrance Day Commemoration Ceremony takes place on Sunday 9 November 2025 at Seaford War Memorial from 10.30am. If you or your organisation would like to take part by laying a wreath at the War Memorial during this ceremony, please get in touch with the Royal British Legion, Seaford Branch at Seaford.POC1@RBL.Community
